Josue Lopez is a New Business Development Specialist at the Treasury Department Recreation Association and a Member of The National Press Club. Before his work at the TDRA, Josue worked in the Presidential Personnel Office at the White House from 2011 to 2012, where he focused on staffing Presidential Appointments for numerous agencies including the U.S. Department of Education, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, the U.S. Department of Labor and the U.S. Department of Justice. Prior to his work with the White House, Josue worked in the President's Economic Recovery Advisory Board at the U.S. Department of the Treasury from 2010 to 2011. In addition, he has interned for the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Management and Budget at The Treasury Department. Josue holds a B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles and is a graduate of Santa Ana College. He is a 2010 U.S. Department of State Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholar to Thammasat University in Bangkok Thailand and also the Co-Founder of Margarita Cleaning.
